Tyler Johnson (MIA) – “Bumpy”

Profile:
Guard: 6’4, 186 lbs; 3rd year, Fresno State
NBA Role: athletic combo guard • Star UnderDOG
Another stroke of genius from the legendary Pat Riley, athletic combo guard Tyler Johnson has been a revelation down in South Beach; after going undrafted (outta Fresno State) in 2014, Johnson worked his way up from the D-League & Summer League circuits and never looked back; lefty guard w/ fantastic bounce – Tyler’s pretty damn explosive, can finish regardless of who’s in the area (drives down the lane with something to prove); as much as he penetrates, TJ should look for spot-up shooters more often – playing w/ a guy like Wayne Ellington in the second unit is a great complement; pretty efficient shooter, can score off the dribble (above the rim) or via nifty floats*; could improve as a defender, lacks elite size; fierce competitor, making him a natural fit under Erik Spoelstra; Miami’s undisputed X-Factor
*‘last minute finisher’ w/ lefty hezzy-floats:
Signature Move: dribble into a 3
(*factory setting*) NBA 2K17 Rating: 75
