A jazzy, Youngstown, OH native, Terry Rozier has game; confident defender, scorer & ball-handler – Rozier’s able to create off the dribble for himself – breaks opponents down w/ a series of dribbles before getting in the paint for “gimme” buckets; bulldog defensively, improving off-ball; subpar shooter – should work exclusively on spotting up in the corner since Brad Stevens loves three-guard sets; learning how to play the PG position in the NBA will be a challenge but Rozier’s development should move along by studying Isaiah Thomas (offensively – stays patient, draws contact, uses screens & slight hesitations to his adv.) & Marcus Smart (defensively – digs in and competes, especially v. larger players); Brad Stevens’s ‘ace in the hole’ in 2017-18?
