MIL Power Forward: 6’9, 252 lbs; 5th year, Kentucky

NBA Role: inside-out power forward • MIL Depth Chart: Spot Minutes

(Lefty Forward) Terrence Jones is a boarder & scorer: plain and simple; loves going left (because, of course), is difficult to corral once he has a head of steam charging hard to the rim (can finish with either hand); has range but Jones should curb his enthusiasm from downtown – if that release point is sped up, then sure; flashes well down the lane – great pump fake & footwork (looks like he’s dancing), can get by a lot of guys using skill rather than overwhelming athleticism; conundrum on defense: nice shot-blocker (good timing on blocks) but gets absolutely torched by opposing forwards at times; dribbles like a guy who used to be a guard in HS before a massive growth spurt – Jones is comfortable in transition but similar to another lefty Wildcat (J. Randle (LAL)*, cultivating his power and energy into a more sustainable force is the priority; acquired by Bucks after the trade deadline (Feb. ’17) – can T. Jones find a permanent role under J. Kidd?

*T. Jones is a bit more under control at this stage – kind of a slowed down version of Randle
