Don’t be fooled by his boyish looks, Sam Dekker can rip your heart out with timely, long range bombs; helped lead Wisconsin to the NCAA Championship in 2015 with his shooting, passing, and hard driving style to the hole (good athlete, goes up strong) – looking to bring the same versatility to Mike D’Antoni’s lineup; effective as a corner jump shooter and cutter next to (PG) James Harden*; good rebounder, always seems to end up w/ a 5-8 boards; will Dekker be able to defend quicker 3s or even some 4s? – could struggle on the defensive side to start out, though it won’t be for lack of effort; X-Factor in 2018?
