Reggie Jackson (DET) – “Action Jackson”

Profile:
Point Guard: 6’3, 208 lbs; 7th year, Boston College
NBA Role: offensive-minded PG • Star UnderDOG
Mr. October? Nope, this version of Reggie Jackson is a talented point guard who’s now in a starring role; went from ‘underrated’ to ‘overpaid’ after signing an $80 million extension to lead Detroit (2015) into the future; Jackson has a lot of star tendencies – ft. aggressive driving to the rim, full control of possessions (& some games) primarily using PnR, and clutch shot-making; would benefit from a steadier J from downtown and better attention to detail on D; cool customer on the court – dribbles in an upright stance like he’s about to race by a bum at the rec, puts layups on a silver platter after getting separation…ya know, cool stuff; avg. almost 19 points/night in just under 31 minutes/night a couple seasons ago (that’s pretty impressive considering all of DET’s options) – can he accept an alpha mentality and lead when things aren’t going right?
Signature Move: ‘bang, bang, s***t’ crossover, floater
(*factory setting*) NBA 2K17 Rating: 82
