Quincy Acy, a hard-nosed power forward outta Baylor, specializes in rebounding and has a never-ending battery pack (non-stop motor, rarely gives up on plays); let’s get things straight: Acy isn’t here to make friends & sing ‘Kumbaya’ – not afraid to take a hard foul or scratch & claw for 50/50 balls; offense has improved since entering the NBA – Acy now boasts a respectable midrange J (has to work on a quicker release, however), though more consistency would do wonders for his game; has extended his jumper to three-point land recently – is Acy on track to become an unusual stretch four/banger?; after a brief D-League stint, Acy earned a two-year roster spot w/ BKN (2016-17) – upside in Kenny Atkinson’s system?
