Malachi Richardson (SAC) – “TBD”

Profile:
Guard: 6’6, 205 lbs; 2nd year, Syracuse
NBA Role: (raw) two-way wing • UnderDOG
A fast-riser* heading into the 2016 Draft, Malachi Richardson was the driving force for ‘Cuse during their late burst to the Final Four; a lanky, (future) two-way guard who loves making plays, Richardson is gonna be a problem if he gains more strength to compete at a higher level on both ends; 7-FOOT wingspan – Richardson’s always a candidate for steals, is able to play passing lanes, help and recover since his limbs are longer than most**; aggressive offensively – Richardson trusts his jumper & handle, so confidence isn’t an issue – he uses his size to get inside the lane, able to score via quick runners; must learn to absorb contact, make reads if pressured in the paint; decent shooter, can he spot up and keep the floor spaced?
*some felt he could have used another year (or two) at school but his impressive performance in the tournament made it “impossible” to return
**it’s glorious – right, John Henson (MIL)?
Signature Shot: TBD.
