(the new) ‘Chief’ Justise Winslow: a powerfully athletic wing whose mission, one he always chooses to accept, is to shut down his opponent; fundamental defender – places the correct hand in passing lanes, doesn’t normally bite on pump fakes, gets into a low stance when defending post-ups; to complement his defense, Justise is best described as a strong-bodied lefty w/ upside as a slasher (who gets to the line a ton)-‘strongman finisher’-‘midrange messiah’ in any motion/uptempo offense; needs to improve 3-point range, build upon his ‘rough draft’ float game & a few counters off the dribble; on his way to becoming a two-way star?; possible steal of the 2015 Draft (#10 overall), always plays w/ a chip on his shoulder; missed the majority of 2016-17 (torn labrum)
