Josh Richardson (MIA) – “Silky Slim” | “Rook 2”

Profile:
Shooting Guard/Small Forward: 6’6, 200 lbs; 3rd year, Tennessee
NBA Role: all-around two-guard • UnderDOG
You poor, poor idiots – how do you continue to let Miami come up w/ steal after steal? – w/ the 40th pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, the HEAT picked up a high-level, (possible) two-way wing in Tennessee’s Josh Richardson; a nice-sized, all-around swingman, Richardson’s in line for major minutes in Miami; at 6’6, J-Rich is a good shooter and scorer – comes off screens hard, looking to score (normally via dribble-midrangers & hard drives to the cup) but realizes how to value possessions; if you play D in Miami, you get PT: Richardson’s stopper potential is often overshadowed by his emerging scoring ability; quick & disciplined – hounds 1s-3s, always brings a strong effort; no conscience – plays multiple positions (handles the ball, comes off screens at the two, etc.) w/ poise & tenacity; learning how to finish through contact, over the top; can J-Rich aid MIA’s progress?
Signature Move: navigating screens, jumper off the dribble
