Jordan Mickey may be smaller than your everyday four man (stands at 6’8″) but he makes up for it with nonstop energy, athleticism & defensive intensity; though Mickey’s still gaining his footing in the league, it’s evident he possesses excellent anticipation on D; very good shot-blocker, could do damage on the help side; quick leaper: frequently swoops in for cleanup flushes, rolls hard for oops after screens; struggles w/ one-on-one defense, avoiding fouls; not much of a shooter; digging in/playing strong has earned Mickey some spot minutes – on the cusp of Brad Stevens’s primary rotation; upside as a knucklehead/scrappy dog who comes in, disrupts the pace of games & improves a defense
