UK’s James Young is a raw 3&D player who hasn’t (yet) solidified a role in Boston; 6’6 swingman w/ nice athleticism; could develop into a “cut and dry” shooter capable of coming in and spacing the floor – lefty jumper is inconsistent but Young has solid form and concentration, it’s all about earning more reps at this point; good slasher but must get stronger to score at a better rate in the paint; what’s Young’s next big step?: learning how to impact games without jacking a ton of outside Js (has to fall in love with doing the little things – could go a long way in Brad Stevens’s system); no longer a year away – it’s make or break time for Young
