Ivica Zubac’s insane physical tools (7’1″, 240 lbs) are why he was viewed as a sleeper pick in the 2016 Draft – the Lakers legitimately feel they have a a lottery talent in Zubac; Zu doesn’t really have an outside attack yet (solid midrange shooter, 3-point range in development) but has a few moves down low & a 7’4 wingspan; shows flashes of becoming a reliable, dump-it-down & score big: Zubac takes his time when setting up shop, keeps the ball high for hooks and short Js; good rebounder – Zubac’s shown the ability to secure loose balls/create extra possessions & staying active near the basket for put backs; very good defensive instincts – gets his hands on a lot of shots; needs to work on strength, faceup offense; LAL isn’t exactly stacked in the middle – is Zubac a long-term option at C?
