An untapped forward prospect w/ room to get better, Marquette’s Henry Ellenson could be called upon sooner rather than later in the Motor City; Henry’s a bit raw but he seems to fit the mold of a Stan Van Gundy big: 6’11 w/ quick feet – Big Henry has solid footwork facing up, uses his strong frame to score around guys to cap off drives; moves like a small forward despite elite height – SVG could use Ellenson as an attacking big off the dribble; consistent three-point range isn’t there yet – late-bloomer: Ellenson has time to grow & hone his skills before joining the rotation
