Eric Gordon (HOU) – “EG”

Profile:
Shooting Guard: 6’4, 215 lbs; 10th year, Indiana
NBA Role: outside scorer • Hybrid
From Mean Streets to IU alllll the way to Houston, Eric Gordon has always gotten buckets • So why hasn’t our hero ever made an All-Star team? Well, bad luck for one – Gordon has NEVER played a full 82-game season as a pro; back in the day, he was a super low-key star (in 2010-11. EG avg. 22, 4 & 3) and was viewed as one of the league’s top two guards; nowadays, when healthy, Gordon is a jump shooter and occasional basket driver capable of heating up in a hurry; shot release is slightly irregular (NBA 2K never gets it right) but he’s not someone you ever wanna leave unattended from downtown; Gordon also features runners on the move, uses his upper-body strength and savvy to get in the lane (when he puts his mind to it); average defender, more of a ‘jump shot’ finisher* than playmaker these days; lighting it up as Mike D’Antoni’s Sixth Man
*in the JJ Redick (LAC) vein, not a ‘dunk’ finisher like DeAndre Jordan (LAC)
Signature Move: in and out, jumper
(*factory setting*) NBA 2K17 Rating: 77
