Profile:

ATL Center: 6’11, 265 lbs; 14th year, Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (GA)

NBA Role: veteran, two-way center

(Future Hall of Famer) Dwight Howard is “getting up there” in age but remains a quality  center when fully healthy; doesn’t overwhelm as much w/ his back to the basket anymore but still sees 20-20 from time to time by killing it on the boards* and finishing off oops & roll catches – don’t get it twisted, Dwight is still a double-double machine but it has a different, nightly effect; working to build a stronger connection w/ Dennis Schröder (Dennis’s Dicey Darts meets Dwight’s Dunks & Defense?); will to win has always been debated, though Dwight’s childlike joy is often misconstrued; sells fouls like no other – yells “AYYYYY” whenever attempting a shot in the paint; back home in ATL, this is Dwight’s best chance to recapture a bit of glory (and win a title, which is also important) & solidify his place as one of the greatest big men in the last thirty years (it’s no hyperbole)
