Dante Exum: an exciting Aussie PG w/ high hopes; Quin Snyder’s ‘ace in the hole’ in 2018 – Coach Quin can bring DX along slowly, while having him apprentice under veteran playmakers George Hill, Joe Johnson & Boris Diaw*; though Exum missed the entire 2015-16 season recovering from an ACL tear, don’t look any further for Utah’s (long-term) commandant moving forward – light pressure to immediately produce, can earn a role off the bench (riding defense, corner 3s** & ball security: his 3 best traits); future posting PG? Exum’s an athletic 6’6 – keeps his head up, deals swift passes to open teammates; values possessions – takes care of the ball, won’t force the issue much; needs to add another scoring dynamic below the 3-point line; excels w/ defensive sliding, wants to defend; very coachable, contributes to winning – Exum is Utah’s undisputed X-Factor
