Damian Jones didn’t really ‘wow’ at Vandy but he’s in a great spot to (eventually) live up to his potential; could really stand out in an uptempo system – one of the 2016 Draft’s top “big man” athletes, Jones can get up and down the floor, finish over the top and has an underrated midrange J; not the best rebounder (especially considering his physical tools), fouls a little too much, some have questioned his motor – seems like a bad omen but similar things were also said about Myles Turner (IND) in 2015; Dubs will bring him along slowly – ironically, GS needs what Jones should be able to provide (interior size, shot-blocking) at some point
