After Bryn Forbes’s final season w/ Sparty, there was a lingering belief he’d be selected in the 2016 Draft – though Forbes eventually went undrafted, he landed w/ one of the best organizations in all of professional sports – SA could groom him into a real contributor at some point*; will make his mark as shooter, just as he did under Tom Izzo – Forbes is great at spotting up, has a consistent motion & mechanics; underrated defender despite being a bit undersized – Forbes has gained muscle since leaving school, fights hard around screens, tries not to give up ground; plenty of possible mentors in SA – Forbes should bug Tony Parker every day (in practice) about how to get a ‘giant killer’ down, for example; Forbes’s floater is aighttt, he needs to learn how to probe better & get all the way in if defenders sit on that shot; minutes boost next season?
