Profile:

BKN Center: 7’0, 275 lbs; 10th year, Stanford

NBA Role: star offensive pivot Hybrid

Brook, the elder Lopez, is on the short list of the league’s best offensive bigs; features some of the most varied post moves and finishes around the rim out of anyone in the NBA – pretty methodical (which is an understatement…) but gets to hot zones and flips up floaters, turnarounds; PnR threat: Brook pops out for ‘no-jump’ Js near the foul line*, has good hands to corral tight passes in the lane; still a (borderline) franchise player?: able to carry an entire offense when necessary; defense and rebounding have always been subpar, though Brook has made strides to break away from Eddy Curry territory recently; hasn’t had much success in the postseason, despite putting up huge numbers in the regular season (doesn’t help that Brooklyn is never in contention); Lopez remains the ‘Brook’ in Brooklyn but for how long?

*Has recently started shooting treys, comfortable from the elbows

Signature Shot: push floater

(*factory setting*) NBA 2K17 Rating: 81
