The #1 overall pick in 2016, LSU’s Ben Simmons is a potential franchise savior in Philly; in a city desperately searching for another superstar, Simmons is wired w/ an uncommon combination of physical tools and a natural feel for the game seen in very few young prospects; excellent passer & playmaker at 6’10 – Simmons uses his size and (methodical) quickness to burst down the floor but relies upon his basketball instincts to carefully place perfect passes – pinpoint ‘pitch-aheads’ (on the run) are his specialty; will Simmons make his teammates better simply by existing?
