The (defending champion) Cleveland Cavaliers steamrolled through New York to kick off the 2016-17 season. After raising its first-ever championship banner, CLE capitalized on 29 points from Kyrie Irving, 23 points & 12 rebounds for Kevin Love & an opening-night triple-double for LeBron James.
19 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds – LeBron’s 3rd title defense was a breeze if we’re being honest. He looked spry – might already be in top form athletically, though his jumper hasn’t yet recovered from last year’s playoffs.
