Here’s a few, current storylines in the Association…
Rudy Gay A Goner?

Rudy Gay is NOT satisfied with the happenings in SacTown. Earlier this summer, he had no clue who Vlade Divac even picked up in the offseason and now, he’s reportedly interested in joining the Miami HEAT.
Gay’s clearly worn out his welcome and it’s about that time, right? Over his career, Rudy’s had trouble fitting in despite obvious talent. At his best, you can count on 18-20 points/night on decent percentages.
A fit like Miami makes sense because he’ll have a clear role (to score, space the floor) without taking up too many minutes from the young wings.
Let’s see if Pat Riley can pull it off without giving up much of anything.
Mr. Basketball

Carmelo Anthony bailed Team USA the f*** out yesterday – Australia put up a rough fight, holding a five-point lead at halftime & eventually losing by only 10.
Melo’s mindset to avoid the biggest of upsets? Bully ball. He powered his way to a game-high 31 points & became Team USA’s all-time Olympic scorer in the process.
Just another day at the office: Melo’s always been a matchup problem during international play.
Ben Simmons at PG?

According to Brett Brown, Philly will experiment with playing Ben Simmons at point guard this season.
Just like that, Philly is easily a top-10 League Pass squad. The moment he steps on the floor, Simmons is an elite NBA passer. Now, running the show and initiating sets on every play is unrealistic but Simmons will play some point forward, cut, move & use his size to create scoring opportunities.
The Sixers aren’t loaded with playmakers by any means, so Brown handing Simmons the keys is the right move.
