If LeBron James ***** with you, he really ***** with you. According to multiple reports, GM LeBron is at it again – former teammate Chris “Birdman” Andersen is set to join the King in Cleveland on a one-year deal.
To free up space, CLE sent seldom-used Sasha Kaun to Philly (expected to release him).
An NBA champion in Miami, the HEAT infamously signed Birdman for the rest of 2013 for front court depth. He just so happened to contribute a magnificent playoff run filled with timely put backs & big blocks.
At 38, Bird has taken a bit of a step back but he can still come in and provide energy and effort.
Hopefully we’ll get a few more “BIRDMAN, BIRDMAN” calls from Shaq now that Andersen’s back on a title contender.
