Earlier today, we didn’t think there was any way Dwyane Wade would leave South Beach after 13 years with the franchise. But now, it’s a reality.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical, D. Wade and the CHICAGO BULLS have reached a 2 year/$47.5 million deal, with a player option included. To clear cap space, Chicago will send Mike Dunleavy Jr. to Cleveland & Jose Calderon to the Lakers.
D. Wade to the Bulls is an interesting fit to say the least. But after this offseason, is it surprising? Only a little.
There’s plenty of time to wonder how Fred Hoiberg will use Wade next to Rajon Rondo & Jimmy Butler. For now, it’s just hard to believe Wade County is a thing of the past.
